There are two services available when you choose to store your baby’s cord blood unit (CBU) with SCBB. They are:

Donate your baby’s cord blood to build public inventory
- If the donated CBU does not meet the public banking criteria, you may choose to store the donated unit for your family.
Store your baby’s cord blood for potential future use for your family
- When you do not wish to continue to store your unit, you may choose to donate it to the public cord blood inventory, subject to the donation criteria at point of donation.
